Everything you are wondering about the housing.

It is our product: a compact, precision-machined housing with a standard 52mm filter thread on one side and a magnetic mount on the other. It snaps onto our phone case and holds a real filter perfectly square in front of your camera — on in a second, off in a second.

Magnetically, to our matching case. The case carries the magnet ring the housing locks into, which is what makes the alignment repeatable — the housing lands in exactly the same position every time instead of depending on how carefully you clipped it on.

Clip-on lens gadgets are slow, easy to knock out of alignment and specific to one phone. A magnetic mount is faster to use, lands square every time, and comes off with a pull when you are done shooting.

Because it is a standard. Any 52mm filter screws in — including glass you may already own — so the housing is not locked to one brand, one filter or one generation of phone. Buy it once and keep using it.

Yes — the case is what the housing magnetically locks onto, and it is engineered so the filter sits perfectly aligned with the camera. It is a protective case in its own right; the magnet ring is simply built into it.

That is the idea. The case is designed to live on your phone, so the housing is always one snap away when you actually want it.

Any standard 52mm filter. We are building our own range — starting with a circular polarizer (CPL) and protective UV glass, with several more planned — but nothing stops you screwing in filters you already own.

Because software cannot recreate light the sensor never received. Real glass changes what gets recorded: a polarizer removes reflections and deepens skies, an ND lets you slow the shutter, protective glass takes the scratch instead of your camera lens. Every serious camera puts optics in front of the sensor — phones simply never had an easy way to.

It blocks polarized light before it reaches the sensor, so reflections off water, glass and wet surfaces disappear, blue skies deepen, and colours come back to full saturation. It is one of the most useful filters to start with — but it is one of several, not the whole point.

Yes. Unscrew one, screw in the next — the housing stays on the case, so you are changing glass, not rebuilding a rig.

We are starting with iPhone, and the goal is to cover every phone — the housing itself is universal, so it comes down to which cases exist. Tell us which phone you shoot with and we will let you know where yours stands.
