T&P Projects AB makes a magnetic universal filter housing. It snaps onto our matching phone case, so any standard 52mm filter sits perfectly aligned in front of your camera — on in a second, off in a second. Starting with iPhone, built to go universal.
The system
Clip-on lens gadgets are fiddly, misaligned and phone-specific. We built the opposite: a magnetic housing that lands in exactly the same place every time, on a case designed around it.
Our product. A precision-machined housing with a standard 52mm thread on one side and a magnetic mount on the other. It snaps onto the case, holds the glass perfectly square to the sensor, and comes off just as fast when you are done.
The case carries the magnet ring the housing locks into, so alignment is decided by engineering rather than by how steady your hand is. Protective on its own, and the reason the housing lands in the same spot every single time.
Any standard 52mm filter screws into the housing — including ones you may already own. We are building our own range, starting with a circular polarizer (CPL) and protective UV glass, with more to follow.
Why a filter at all
Your phone has a remarkable sensor sitting behind a tiny piece of unprotected glass, with nothing in front of it. Every serious camera in the world puts optics there. Once you can mount a real filter in a second, there is no reason yours should not.
Every AI filter is a guess about data the sensor never captured. Real glass changes what gets recorded in the first place — that is why professionals still put optics in front of a lens, and why your phone deserves the same.
A polarizer to cut glare and deepen skies. An ND to slow the shutter for silky water. Protective UV glass for the beach or the workshop. Diffusion for softer highlights. One housing takes all of them — just unscrew and swap.
A scratched camera lens is a phone-sized repair bill. A filter is a cheap, replaceable piece of glass sitting in front of it — the same reason photographers leave one screwed on permanently.
Gear you have to assemble stays in the bag. The housing goes on with a magnet and comes off with a pull, so putting real glass in front of the camera takes about as long as opening the camera app.

Because the thread is a standard, the housing is not tied to one brand of glass or one generation of phone. Buy it once, keep using it as your filters and your phone change.
